We are looking for motivated and experienced General Manager to join the Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) at Barts Health.

Our NEPTS is available for patients who cannot travel to or from our hospitals using any other method of transport because of their medical or mobility condition, or because their medical condition would otherwise worsen. All requests for patient transport are assessed on medical need. Transport is only provided for patients coming from their home addresses to North East London NHS Trust locations. Transport is also provided for patients going home from a North East London NHS Trust locations to a booked address stated by the ward or clinic anywhere in the mainland UK.



The postholder will be accountable for the operational delivery of NHS transport services across Bart’s Health, ensuring high quality, flexible and responsive service delivery and to plan, develop, coordinate and evaluate the services provided.They will provide leadership, professionally and managerially, for staff employed within the NHS Patient Transport Service and have a responsibility for aspects of clinical governance compliance and assurance related to NHS Patient Transport Services; ensuring safe, efficient and cost effective use of all resources and ensuring the safety of our staff and patients.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Children’s Community Nursing Service in our Inner London Division We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Children’s Community Nurse who is looking to share and develop their skills in the largest community healthcare trust in London

The post holder will work within the Children’s Community Nursing Team, visiting children in the community with a wide range of conditions, with the aim of reducing hospital admissions and attendances. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to the role of Senior Staff Nurse for our newly created Paediatric Hospital@Home service to provide a high level service to all patients and staff within the department.

Community Children’s Team of the Children’s and Young People’s division at North Middlesex Hospital is seeking to appoint a band 6 paediatric nurse as part of the new children’s Hospital @ Home (H@H) service. The post is based at North Middlesex Hospital located in Edmonton, London and the service is commissioned to provide home based care to children in the borough’s of Haringey and Enfield. We are a 7 day service, 365 days a year, working hours 07:30-20:00, consisting of early and late shifts.

The H@H pilot has been commissioned by NCL ICB. The function of the team will be to provide hospital standard care to children with acute nursing needs in the community. Working within a virtual ward model, the service will develop bespoke care pathways for children requiring nursing care which will avoid extended lengths of stay and admission. The team will work closely with Paediatricians and pharmacy colleagues to ensure a seamless transfer home and provide high quality nursing care according to their treatment plan.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for our newly establishment H@H service. This is a new service that will sit alongside an existing well established dynamic CCNT. The post holder will work within the multidisciplinary team to provide safe and appropriate management of children and young people with an acute illness which can be treated in the community. They will be working closely with the acute teams to ensure that patient safety is paramount.

They will be able to identify patients suitable for H@H and ensure a rapid discharge from ED or the ward. To plan, implement and evaluate their care. To review any re-admissions and identify potential reasons why this has occurred.

The H@H service supports the NHS Long Term Plan which emphasises the importance of care to be provided closer to home and aligns with the STP vision to improve urgent and emergency care for children. In turn, the H@H service will aim to support the 4 hour emergency department turnaround target and improve the flow of patients within North Middlesex.

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Hospital Trust (NMUH) is one of London’s busiest healthcare providers, providing hospital care and community services for the 350,000 people living in Enfield, Haringey and beyond.

The requirement for this post is extensive cardiac experience (3- 5 years) at Band 5/6 level who processes excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and liaise with multidisciplinary team members within the trust adult and paediatric cardiology directorate as well as Clinical Genetics services and community services.

They will work as a clinical expert offering advice, information and support to teams both in hospital and the community to ensure patients and families with or at risk of ICCs are managed appropriately.

Ron Johnson is a highly specialised HIV/ Oncology/ Dermatology ward consisting of 19 en-suite side rooms. We are a tertiary referral unit for HIV and HIV related malignancy.

We are a dynamic ward and provide care to patients with varied nursing needs including, administering chemotherapy for patients as an in-patient, delivering excellent patient centered palliative care while supporting families through this often difficult time, we provide care for HIV positive patients and manage their various health needs.
