The Financial Analyst will join a team of three finance leaders to partner with and support Divisional operations leaders (DVPs) of this $1B+ business with approximately 6,000 teammates. We're looking for someone with a strong analytical and financial background, the ownership mindset to consistently and proactively seek ways to improve the business, the leadership ability to operationalize new ideas and insights. In addition, this person will be a key thought partner and work closely with the Division Finance Managers, Group Finance Director, Division Vice Presidents and other field operations and clinical teams.
This position is responsible for supporting the Dream Team finance team in special projects, P&L review process support, data analyses, process improvements and metric/report development in alignment with DaVita’s Mission and Core Values. This includes supporting processes for accounting for center and divisional P&L reviews, new business opportunities, performance metrics, goal/progress tracking, preparing financial reports for corporate and field operations management, and joint venture partners, as well as internal and external audit agencies.
This teammate is an integral partner in supporting the finance team and division operations for the entire Dream Team portfolio. Typical divisions have approximately 50 clinics and $200M revenue. Teammate will take a financial support role in each of the categories listed below through a strong partnership with the Group’s finance team and Division Vice Presidents. This role is an integral player in driving successful business outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Finance Team Support
1. Special Projects – in partnership with Division Finance Managers and operational leaders, support opportunities for operational improvement
2. Monthly financial/operations reviews – explains key drivers behind financial performance. Assist with interpretation of results, trends etc.
3. Joint Venture Reporting – assist DFMs in joint venture reporting and data analyses for outside partners
Growth Management Support
1. New Clinics – build models, assess projects and partner with Division Finance Managers and Division Vice Presidents on necessary capital approval processes
2. Growth strategy sessions – partner with Division Finance Managers to analyze, review and recommend overall divisional growth strategy
3. Forecasting – support the bottoms-up build of 3-year operating plan
Leadership
1. You will be expected to interpret data, develop solutions, and effectively communicate your recommendations to senior leadership
2. You will be expected to drive accountability to action plans committed by Division Finance Managers and Divisions
3. You will be required to coach non-finance oriented teammates as necessary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.

3. Expert-level computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
4. Ability to travel up to 10%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
1. Healthcare industry background a plus
- 2. Expert level computer skills and proficiency in finance/accounting systems like ESS Base, MS excel, word, outlook and power point

Salary/ Wage Range
$68,400.00 - $100,400.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
