We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance and Payroll Officer to work in one of our busy offices to support our School Business Manager. The position could be based at any one of our four sites.
Office experience is essential and experience of SIMS Finance is desirable, although training will be provided. Excellent communication skills required - both written and verbal.

The service provides an OPD outreach service to men within HMP High Down and a specialist residential Psychologically Informed Planned Environment (PIPE) unit for men with learning disabilities. The services form part of the national Men’s OPD pathway and will be a national first.

You will be joining a new staff team that will include Psychologists, a Neurodiversity Practitioner, Occupational Therapists, a Speech & Language therapist, Prison Officers and an Advanced Lived Experience Practitioner. We are seeking a compassionate & enthusiasticSupport Time Recovery Workerwith an interest in helping service users to develop the skills and knowledge needed to live independently on progression from the service.

This is a London Pathways Partnership (LPP) service, with CNWL as the lead provider. LPP is a consortium of 5 NHS Trusts working in partnership to deliver a network of services to complex and high-risk service users in London & the Southeast. LPP deliver integrated services, primarily within the OPD pathway across London community & within several local prisons, thus ensuring a supported prison to community pathway. LPP also have an active staff development programme which may include training & accredited supervision in specialist therapies provision. We actively support research and have close relationships with academics from several local universities.
• To assist in the day to day running of the Progression PIPE and Outreach service, including facilitating group skills and social-creative sessions and contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings.
• To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team supporting and enhancing the psychological wellbeing of residents within the OPD services in HMP high Down.
• To support the work of occupational and psychological therapists and work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team supporting and enhancing the psychological wellbeing of residents within the OPD services in HMP High Down.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical:
• To support the PIPE team in the organisation and facilitation of groups and creative sessions.
• To attend and participate in relevant multi-disciplinary meetings, including formulation meetings.
• To support the day to day running of the PIPE completing relevant organisational and administration tasks
• To support referrals to the PIPE service by conducting assessment interviews of potential new residents.
• To contribute to the writing of reports on residents within the service, where appropriate and in agreement with the resident.

• To maintain adequate records as required by existing procedures, entering appropriate details on the service users case notes as necessary.

You will also lead the clerking administration function, providing support to the Clerk of Governors, ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of governance functions.The role will include in person attendance at Governor meetings, of which you can expect one a term, usually held in the evening as well as various board meetings through the year. Timely production of minutes following the meetings is imperative so you will be highly organised and efficient. Your new role

Reporting into the FC, you will be taking on a key permanent role that spans both finance, IT and operations. This key role will see you working to continuously improve processes and systems, driving best practice in all areas to build an efficient and technologically driven business. You'll work across all business areas and in particular with finance to drive better quality, accurate data, reporting and insights. Alongside the continuous improvement work, you will support the implementation of the new ERP. This is a broad role with lots of scope for development!

What you'll need to succeed

In addition to your professional accounting qualification, ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent, you should be passionate about continuous improvement and have proven experience in driving better data, reporting and building efficiency into processes. No specific systems experience is required but knowledge of ERPs would be very helpful. Alongside sound systems knowledge is your positive relationship building skills to be able to work cross-function and to come up with innovative solutions alongside your colleagues. This is a unique and visible role in the business.
