About the Role

Thepostholder will be work in the Home Treatment Team (HTT) East, based at St Ann's Hospital, and on inpatient wards at St Ann's Hospital, depending on service needs. Their supervisor will be Dr Domenico Scala, a consultant in HTT East, and medical lead for acute inpatient services.

Working hours will be 9am-5pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays, with protected education time on Tuesday afternoons. We are looking for 2 innovative Occupational Therapists who are keen to develop their skills at a senior level, who can demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to implement evidence-based practice.

This role requires HCPC Registration.

The team is an integrated Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy team. Work within these posts provides an ideal opportunity to develop skills in stroke and neuro assessment and early rehabilitation, supervision of junior staff/students and positive influence on patient care and service development.

The post holders will be supported by experienced Band 7 therapists across the pathway.
