CMA is partnering with a local business going through unprecedented growth to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team based in Portsmouth, Hampshire on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Management Accountant this is an ideal role for somebody looking to take a step up and gain experience of month end and management accounts process.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations;
• Fixed asset reporting;
• Journal postings;
• Posting of bank transactions and associated reconciliations;
• Cashiering;
• Processing staff expenses.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant role:
• Previous experience within a similar role;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Actively studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA or a desire to;
• Strong IT skills including Intermediate/advanced Excel;
• SAP experience.
