An opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join the friendly Stort Valley and Villages Integrated Community Team. The service covers the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 7 days a week.
If you are a student nurse, we would welcome your application, working in an acute Trust is not compulsory before gaining your first position in the community as we provide full training and support.
We also welcome applications from nurses who are looking for a community based role.
The post offers varied and interesting community experience in a well supported environment and is an ideal opportunity for a nurse interested in working in the community. Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions. The team covers a 7 days a week service and therefore a flexible approach to working is required.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Providing a high standard of patient care using evidence based framework. The post holder is a member of the Integrated Community Nursing Team and may take responsibility in the absence of the Community Nursing Sister for the team and caseload.
The post holder is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised nursing care to patients living in the community. The service is provided 7 days per week.
Please be aware that if you are applying from overseas, we expect overseas candidates to have FULL registration with the NMC (including an OSCE pass), if you do not have full NMC registration, unfortunately your application will not be successful. Whilst we can sponsor fully registered candidates who live outside the UK, we are unable to pay relocation costs.
