Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Marine
Advocacy Manager.




The Marine Advocacy Manager is responsible for delivery of The Wildlife Trusts’ Marine Protected Areas (MPA) advocacy programme
within the North Sea, aiming to secure positive outcomes for marine wildlife through the identification of a suite of well managed
Marine Protected Areas. The role involves being a major stakeholder at every stage of the Marine Conservation Zone Project, Natura
2000 project and other key North Sea policy areas which impact upon MPAs, such as planning and fisheries issues.




The post holder will deliver advocacy work within and outside of the Wildlife Trusts focussing on the objectives of the Marine and
Coastal Act (2009). This will raise the awareness of marine conservation such that Trust staff and volunteers deliver benefits for
marine wildlife through their own work.




Applicant must have:

• A proven management and advocacy experience in marine wildlife conservation work.

• A proven track record of effective working with sea users, NGOs and statutory agencies.

This position will be responsible to support CIOO IT Finance Management functions. You will be required to work closely with CIOO Institution Services and Cluster Finance teams and Group Finance teams, as well as various departments across Synapxe and cluster office.

Business Finance Operations:

· Advice, support and work with various teams to ensure compliance with IT governance, such as authorisation process.

Requirements / Qualifications

· Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent is preferred.

Acquisition/Divestment:

• Developing and managing relationships with developers, investors, and builders to enable the execution of capital partnership strategies for new and existing development projects.
• Structuring and negotiating key commercial terms in relation to definitive agreements needed for existing and new projects.
• Closely monitoring market pulse, transactions and sentiments, employing data analytics to identify trends, present a coherent and comprehensive picture of the market.
• Reporting regularly on changes to government policies including cooling measures, land supply and other factors influencing development profits and decisions.
• Preparing board papers and approval memos, as well as negotiating the key transactional terms and joint venture agreements where applicable.

We’re looking for an Operational Risk (OR) Manager who will be reporting directly to the Head of Operational Risk, this is a Second Line of Defence role under the Risk Management function. The day-to-day activities:

Job Description

Acquisition/Divestment:

• Monitoring, identifying and originating new development and/or value-add opportunities in Singapore across the asset classes including residential, commercial, industrial/ business parks and mixed-use projects.
• Developing and managing relationships with developers, investors, and builders to enable the execution of capital partnership strategies for new and existing development projects.
• Structuring and negotiating key commercial terms in relation to definitive agreements needed for existing and new projects.
• Closely monitoring market pulse, transactions and sentiments, employing data analytics to identify trends, present a coherent and comprehensive picture of the market.
• Reporting regularly on changes to government policies including cooling measures, land supply and other factors influencing development profits and decisions.
• Preparing board papers and approval memos, as well as negotiating the key transactional terms and joint venture agreements where applicable.

Overview

Highland Cinema is looking for an experienced, capable and enthusiastic Administration & Finance Manager to join as one of our key Senior Managers. In this exciting role, you will work closely with the existing Senior Management Team and Duty Managers to help maintain, shape and improve all aspects of our operation. The successful candidate will be involved in many aspects of day-to-day office management and the running of the cinema and café bar operations. Duties and responsibilities

• To support the General Manager and their Deputies at a senior level.
• To handle all day-to-day aspects of finances and bookkeeping for Highland Cinema.
• To compile and pay purchase invoices on a weekly basis.
• To deal with company mail and emails on a daily basis.
• To issue sales invoices and chase late payments for events and private bookings.
• To coordinate all cash handling and maintain records in an accurate manner.
• To reconcile all credit card transactions and other receipts.
• To complete daily, weekly and monthly sales and cash reports for Management.
• To complete the quarterly VAT submissions.
• To submit and pay PAYE via Government Gateway.
• To compile and maintain staff records and hours/holiday periods/sickness for the Payroll procedure.
• To account for and operate as the ‘Tronc Master’ for the tips for the staff in a timely manner, as agreed with the General Manager.

As a Senior Business Analyst:

Functional solution design and testing accountability:

• Ensure consistency of functional and non-functional needs, and challenge business requirements.
• Design the functional solution / prepare user stories (or equivalent documents).
