Responsibilities

• Provide guidance/support to Section Heads in resolving day to day issues/challenges
• Investigate and address any complaints from agents and corporate customers
• Ensure that the Statement Of Accounts and Profit Commission Statements are accurate and promptly generated & distributed
• Provide Debtors Ageing Report with CCD remark and action plan to MO
• Ensure the proper follow through to ensure maintenance is up-to-date and timely upkeep the intermediaries account for reconciliation, approval of payments and journals
• Ensure collections on all accounts are within the timeframe in accordance to the Credit Control Policy
• Involve in projects that related to credit control and monitoring of premium collection such as auto-commission project, premium warranty
• Responsible on the payment of commission to agent and facilitate refund payment as requested by branch personnel within the timeframe in accordance to Credit Control Policy

Requirements:

• Experienced in Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
• Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
• Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.
• Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
• Advance level in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
• Organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Business Planning 

• Contribute to business strategy by supporting the business line in identifying, prioritizing, and building people capabilities, structuring and improve processes

Workforce Management 

• Guide line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirement in line with the function/ business strategy. Highlight and where appropriate recommend solutions to address any resulting issues.
• Establish the line's manpower issues and needs and make timely recommendation to address the issues.
• Advise the line on headcount management within the allocated budget.
• Perform Hiring, Transfer and Exits activities.
• Establish the sourcing strategies for cost-effectiveness of the hiring process and be accountable for vacancy fulfillment.
• Conduct joint interviews with the line where possible to ensure the right candidate for the right position.
• Assist the line in defining the position requirements and core competency requirements and performance management of the position. 

Talent & Staff Development Management

• Guide the line manager in the successor/talent selection process, if any.
• Guide the line managers and staff on managing career development methodologies 

Change Management

• Provide guidance to line manager in understanding the need for change, identify the change requirements, and to support continuous improvement.
• Undertake ad-hoc functional or cross-functional change management projects, where assigned.
• Support change initiatives that affects the business and advice on people management aspect.
• Support culture and team building for the functions/areas 

Requirements 

• Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR functional roles, preferably in a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience in recruitment, talent management, and change management.
