About the role
We are seeking a skilled Finance & Admin Officer / Executive to join our team at Darco Industrial Water Sdn Bhd in Simpang Ampat, Penang. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting the financial and administrative operations of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other reporting requirements to ensure monthly closuring schedules prepares timely. The incumbent collects, review, and analyzes financial and statistical information.
- Handling administrative tasks such as document management, filing, and general office support
- Prepares and documents the year-end audit and provides assistance to auditors.
- Helping to implement and maintain financial and administrative policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the finance and accounting team to ensure the smooth operation of the department
- Ensure payroll and computation is done on time.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance or administrative role, preferably in the accounting/finance industry for officer level
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a finance or administrative role, preferably in the accounting/finance industry for executive level
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in using financial and office software, such as accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field would be an advantage

Otherwise all manufacturing and assembling of water treatment units are carried out in Nilai, Malaysia.
General system components such as water pumps, storage tanks, pressure vessels and steel skids are generally out-sourced.
