The Job
As a Finance Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the senior management team with accurate financial record-keeping and general admin tasks. You will be responsible for routine bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll and preparing various financial reports. Your role will also involve maintaining organised financial records, reconciling bank statements and supporting in month-end and year-end closing procedures. The ability to multitask, prioritise and provide flexible support to the wider finance team will be key to your success in this role.
The Person
The ideal candidate is an independent, self-motivated individual with proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role. You should be proficient in using SAGE and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and possess strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and effective communication skills are essential. If you are forward-thinking, well organised and capable of managing a busy workload with a proactive approach, this position is perfect for you.
The Benefits
This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from £23,750 to £27,500 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. You will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including a company pension, discretionary annual performance bonus and 28 days of holiday with additional discretionary leave. The position also offers flexibility with an 8-hour shift schedule, Monday to Friday, allowing for a good work-life balance.
