Job Summary:

The successful applicant will support the School by providing an efficient reprographic service for the school community. The role reports to Procurement Director through Lead Reprographics Technician.

• Minimum working experience of two to three years
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Knowledge of PC (Microsoft Office Applications) and software applications e.g. Tiff, JPEG, Excel and PDF
• Experience with photocopying machines will be an advantage
• Pleasant disposition with good communication skills
• Positive attitude and positive approach to working with people
• Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
• Have a disciplined approach to timekeeping and good attendance at work

Key Responsibilities

1. Primary – Reprographics

• Undertake all tasks relating to photocopying, booklet binding and laminating with efficiency.
• Track and follow-up on requests submitted both manually and via email and liaise with users upon completion of jobs.
• Sort and arrange photocopying and printing orders for distribution by class, year groups and departments. Attend to walk-in requests for ad-hoc photocopying and scanning to email.
• Printing of display posters and printing & trimming of tickets for special events.
• Be familiar with the function and operation of all copiers in the reprographics rooms. And department account codes.
• Perform cleaning and basic maintenance, replenishment of papers and changing of toner.
• Troubleshoot minor problems such as ink smudges and paper jams to ensure smooth operations of the equipment where there is ‘error” on the touch screen panel.
• Track and maintain proper stock level for paper and stationery supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Receive deliveries from suppliers and check to ensure items received are correct and in good condition.
• Submit the order form for new order of papers / color papers to Lead Reprographics Technican before stock runs out.
• Ensure work is performed within prescribed guidelines, health & safety and copyright regulations.
• Work with other Reprographic Assistants to support the three schools during team absentees.

2. Communication

• Handle all enquiries (emails and verbal) requests from the School.
• Advise staff on reprographic guidelines.
• Liaise with Lead Reprographics Technician on paper and stationeries supplies and equipment breakdown.
• Be responsible for reporting any concerns about a child to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

• To support the team in the clinic area and to provide care within agreed competencies as per instructed by a registered nurse - prepare, restore and maintain areas, equipment and clinical supplies in readiness for dialysis.
• Conduct patient observations pre/post dialysis (blood pressure, weight). Prepare patients for dialysis programme machines and connect patients to commence treatment as directed by qualified personnel.
• Monitor throughout treatment reporting changing , incidents and patient feedback to responsible nurse.
• Follow dialysis, complete discontinuation procedures including wash back and removal of needles.
• Assisting registered nurses in providing comprehensive dialysis treatment.
• Preparing, restoring, and maintaining clinical areas and equipment.
• Monitoring and stocking consumable supplies to ensure smooth operation.
• Escorting patients to and from the clinical area.
• Contributing to patient documentation and managing phone inquiries.
• Providing hands-on care under supervision, including preparing patients for dialysis, monitoring during treatment, and assisting with post-dialysis care.
• GCSE education and NVQ3 in Health and Social Care.
• At least two years of experience as a Health Care Assistant, with a focus on high-level patient care.
• Proficiency in English and working knowledge of MS Office.

This position will be based in the x-ray department at York Hospital, and at our satellite site at Clifton Park Clinic. The assistant practitioner will be working alongside a qualified supervising radiographer, undertaking a range of x-ray examinations on patients who are non-complex in nature.
• Undertake all the professional and technical requirements of the post as an assistant radiographic practitioner, while working under clinical supervision, within the Radiology service at York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
• Undertake a defined range of radiographic examinations under supervision
• Adhere to the defined imaging criteria of the Trust whilst ensuring the best interests of the patient are always maintained, including acting as a patient’s advocate as necessary.
• Provide an efficient and ethical imaging service while remaining sensitive at all times to the needs and concerns of all service users.
• Observe all statutory and local rules & practices concerning Ionising Radiation Regulations IRMER 2017 and IRR 2017.
• Initiate and/or maintain all required records associated with imaging examinations in electronic and/or paper form.

About Asian Institute of Digital Finance

The Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF) is a university-level institute in NUS, jointly founded by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the National Research Foundation (NRF) and NUS. AIDF aspires to be a thought leader, a Fintech knowledge hub, and an experimental site for developing digital financial technologies as well as for nurturing current and future Fintech researchers and practitioners in Asia.

We invite applications for the position of Research Assistant who will be housed in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC) under Principal Investigator, Professor Liang Zhenkai for research grant ref: NRF/UP#1, titled: “Security and identity management of digital infrastructure for FinTech services.”

We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Systems.

Qualifications

The Research Assistant will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator and lab members on one or more research projects under the NRF grant. He/she should possess experience or interest in at least one of the following research areas:

• Security
• Systems and Networking

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
• Programming skills in C/C++.
• Experience in research.
• Experiences with the following areas will be preferredProgram analysis
  System/OS kernel development
  Audit log analysis
  Trusted hardware programming

Job Summary:

The successful applicant will contribute to the efficient organisation across all year groups, by providing operational and administrative support to the Heads of Year, ISLT, Forest School Leader and Art STLA as appropriate.

The role reports to the Head of Infant School through the Deputy Headteacher Pastoral.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree holder preferably in the relevant discipline
• Minimum relevant experience of three years and above
• Pleasant disposition with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good administrative and organizational skills
• Experience working with children will be essential, particularly the 3-7 years old age range.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs, SharePoint
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player with good initiative
• Positive, enthusiastic, and mature individuals who enjoy working with children and teachers.
