We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to play a key role in NHS IUC, working predominantly at our Rotherham call centre site however there may be occasions when you will be required at our call centre in Wakefield.
You will be responsible for providing a confidential administrative support to the NHS IUC Team Leader group, NHS IUC Operational Service Managers and NHS IUC Call Centre Managers.
Responsibilities will include the management of diaries as required, room bookings, arranging visits and making travel arrangements, maintaining records which include collating, printing, and distributing papers for meetings.
Additional responsibilities will also include, manual handling tasks, ordering and replenishing call centre amenities such as paper and refreshments, storage and circulation of PPE, Business Continuity checks to ensure IT equipment is working as expected, reporting and follow up of faults and general Contact Centre cleanliness. There may also be a requirement to take/produce minutes from meetings.
You will need to be self-motivated and able to use own initiative whilst also able to work as part of a team when required.

The post holder will need good IT, communication, and organisational skills to enable them to coordinate arrangements and manage priorities. You will have excellent customer service and time management skills and previous administrative experience, and ideally have experience of working in a large team.
GCSE grade C or above standard in Maths and English Language or a Level 2 qualification in relevant field, i.e. Business Administration or equivalent demonstrable experience (equivalent experience constitutes the applicant being able to demonstrate administrative knowledge) is an essential requirement.

Integrated Urgent Care leaders will shortly start to implement the outcomes of a wide ranging service review. Whilst this role may be impacted by the review, we expect it to remain within the structure and it will play an instrumental role in the delivery of the key objectives of that organisational change process.
