Corporate Banking Overview:

The CB Summer Analyst program is designed for candidates between their second and third year of an undergraduate school. What does our Internship Program offer?

Key’s Retail Banking Internship is a 12-week rotational program that provides interns an opportunity to work alongside our Bankers operating from a KeyBank branch. Interns will learn customer service, conversational banking skills, and how to create a great client experience while helping bring our Financial Wellness strategy to life. BSQ is the industry’s first dedicated special situations investment strategy offering tailored capital solutions to companies and real assets driving the next digital era. We take a highly thematic approach to investing that has the flexibility to capture opportunities throughout market cycles, capital structures (credit and equity), and asset types. Our goal is to support the long-term growth of the digital ecosystem while maximizing risk-adjusted returns for our investors underpinned by an emphasis on value, downside protection, and upside optionality.

We are seeking an intern to join our special situations investment team. This is an opportunity to work alongside a high calibre team on some of the most exciting deals in the space, as well as experience the start-up and entrepreneurial culture of a young company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for deal execution, internal memos and marketing
• Conduct industry and product research
• Perform appropriate business and financial analyses / modelling
• Participate in the execution and due diligence of investments
• Monitor and report latest market news and events
• Support team in portfolio management
• Contribute to other areas of the business as needed

Position Requirements

· Previous finance work experience, preferably in investment banking (M&A or coverage), or funds (private equity, special situations/credit, hedge funds)

· Keen interest in technology, fintech, and/or digital assets

· Excellent presentation (Powerpoint) and analytical (Excel) skills

· Strong grasp of corporate finance fundamentals

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Natural curiosity to learn and seek exposure to new concepts

· Fluent in English. Additional Asian language is preferred, but not a must

· Courses in accounting, corporate finance and/or economics

· Working permit in Singapore / Hong Kong is required

  Qualifications:

• Typically between 3 – 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
