The opportunity
As a Business Teacher at Barnsley College, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching across a range of business-related courses. About you
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Finance Teacher to join our team and help deliver an exceptional learner experience across a range of T Level and Foundation study programmes. In this role, you will focus on developing learners who are ready for their next steps and committed to achieving their qualifications. You will work collaboratively with a team of specialists to contribute to the development and organisation of a dynamic and relevant curriculum.
Ideally, you will be an experienced educator or someone with strong occupational competence and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and learning. You will inspire and engage learners, supporting the department’s growth, success rates, and overall development. Strong communication and time management skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Excel, alongside a passion for student development.
You will be a professional with high standards, fully committed to ensuring your learners reach their full potential and succeed in their educational journey. Barnsley College supports staff development through continuous professional development (CPD) and offers opportunities for further qualifications and training. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers and those considering a career change, but you must already hold an AAT or similar finance qualification.
