A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS INSURANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER:

• Manage Renewal Process
• Provide insurance advice pertaining to technical aspects and service support of new and renewal business including maintaining client retention of existing accounts
• Communication/Client Service (internal & external clients)
• Master Sagitta Agency Management System and document management system
• Mentor associates
• Problem solving including abstract reasoning
• Client claims management
• Manage client accounts receivables/payables

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• College degree desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current 2-20 license
• Extensive knowledge of business insurance policy contracts/coverages
• Extensive understanding of the regulatory, legislative and legal issues surrounding critical commercial situations, including understanding of marketplace and market conditions
• Working knowledge of Sagitta Agency Management System, or willingness to learn

Job Purpose:
 

The Finance Discovery Rep Rotational Program offers graduating students the opportunity to experience corporate finance through the lens of a Fortune 100 company. Selected co-workers will move within three, three-month rotations through Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Credit, and Accounting. This will provide our co-worker with a broad range of experience and understanding, helping to grow their finance career. At the conclusion of the program, you will be assessed by our managers and consulted with prior to full-time placement. Our goal is to place our co-worker in the desired position that fits the organization and their skill set. At the time of placement, the co-worker will receive a different job title. Space is limited for the program so apply today!

This program is on-site in our Clearwater, FL or Greenville, SC location(s) and selected co-workers would need to be able to commit to a hybrid work schedule. This position starts in May 2024.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Entry Level (0 to 1 Years of relevant work experience) is required.

Our program is full-time, from May 28th – August 2nd, 2024. This year, our Finance, Accounting, and Credit roles will be based in our Clearwater, FL office.

All our intern projects and goals vary based on major and department and make a valuable and measurable impact on our business. In exchange (or beyond your assigned work), you will be able to network with our top executives during our speaker series, participate in intern bonding events with your peers, job shadow other departments, and get a feel for what it’s like to join a global IT solutions aggregator.

What We’re Looking For:

• Business Majors (including, but not limited to: Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, and more)

• Current college student: rising juniors and above, including May 2024 graduates.

Example job duties and projects include:

• Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
• Provide analytical support to management.
• Collaborate with different teams within the organization to support ad hoc needs of the business and finance organization.
• Provide analysis and interpretation of the customers’ financial status for proper evaluation of risk and the establishment of proper credit limits.   
• Work closely with collections staff, sales representatives and customers to acquire needed information and facilitate sales while avoiding excessive credit risk. 
• Assists in the preparation of various account analyses and reconciliations.

We are looking for a Business Insurance Client Service Representative provides technical and service support to Account Managers for new clients, during the renewal process and for daily client service functions.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS INSURANCE CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:

• Prepare renewal reviews and premium/loss summaries in accordance with timelines set by account manager.
• Process change requests; prepare documents for CompPro; schedules of insurance; and premium finance agreements
• Update future applications for renewal preparation.
• Prepare Certificate holder list for client review and prepare certificate templates

•    Responsible for maintenance of Sagitta policy detail and system use in accordance with Bouchard Best Practices and Procedures.
•    Research and provide recommendations to client risk management/coverage issues and internal workflow processes.
•    Receive and process claim reports as backup to claims unit
•    Gather and review loss data to prepare detailed premium and loss summaries. Clearly explain results to client/Sales executive/marketing/carriers.
•    Coordinate efforts with Account Manager and Bouchard claims consultant to resolve complex claims issues.
•    Manage timetable for renewal process to meet or exceed established Bouchard procedures.
•    Quote and bind Special Event, Builders Risk and Flood policies.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Current Florida 2-20 License, or willingness to obtain

• College degree desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum of two years commercial insurance experience preferred

• Working knowledge of latest Microsoft word and excel (intermediate to advanced level).
• Ability to maintain and organize electronic files on the company document management system.
• Working knowledge of Sagitta Agency Management System and ImageRight document management system, or willingness to learn.
