The job plan consists of elective spinal clinics, elective hand clinics, general fracture clinics, elective operating support for spine and hands, trauma and on-calls.

You will be part of the 1:12 on-call rota.





Assessment, care and treatment of patients presenting acutely to the specialty and referred to the specialty.

The post holder will be required to participate in the Middle Grade (Registrar) on call rota on a 1:12 basis, shared with colleagues. The post holder will also be required to participate on the Registrar of the Week Rota. At night the hospital runs a Hospital at Night service and as such the post holder will be expected to work as part of that team. At night, the Hospital at Night team base should be used during quiet periods. However, the Registrar is non-resident on call after 8pm

We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity of a 9-month secondment or fixed term post in our friendly team of Gynaecology and Head & Neck Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists.
We are keen to support internal and external requests for secondment or a fixed-term contract. This role will suit a knowledgeable and skilled nurse with gynaecology support and care experience who are interested in developing cancer knowledge and skills.
You will need relevant experience in gynaecology and/or oncology. As a Gynaecology Cancer CNS you will work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team ensuring that patients with malignancies receive the highest standard of care and support from the time of referral, diagnosis and throughout the cancer pathway.
Working in partnership with our regional centres and specialist cancer providers you will manage these patients across the pathways of care.
You will be instrumental in supporting the new Nurse Led Cancer Support Pathways, working with other colleagues to influence and set best clinical practice,
You will acts as a Key Worker for a clinical caseload, working to coordinate care and provide easy access for ongoing support for patients.
You will facilitate and support healthcare teams to implement evidence based practice, and will contribute to the development of the clinical nurse specialist service.

You will be working for Hays as early years bank staff where you will be placed in various settings. You will be working with children aged 3 months to 5 years, which can be tailored to your preferences.
