Claims Specialists conduct interviews with the public to obtain, clarify, and verify information about initial and continuing eligibility for retirement, survivors, disability, health insurance benefits, and eligibility for supplemental security income including State supplements. In addition, they resolve discrepancies, clarify issues and make final decisions for initial and post-entitlement for benefits and payments; adjudicate and authorize entitlement or disallowance actions at all levels of difficulty and complexity under programs administered by SSA.

An exciting opportunity to joint NHS England South East Region as part of the Commissioning Finance Team.

We are looking for a Finance Manager who is highly motivated, talented, and well organised to join and lead the Pharmacy, Ophthalmic and Dental (POD) Finance Team.

POD services have been delegated to Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) with the POD Finance team providing a financial service through a Hub model.

The successful applicant will play a significant role in supporting commissioners within the Commissioning Hub and ICBs to deliver one of the key NHS objectives for 2024/25 – making it easier for people to access community and primary care services, in particular dentistry.
• Lead the POD Finance Team to ensure a comprehensive financial management process is provided for Pharmacy, Ophthalmic and Dental Services.
• Act as key point of contact between regional and ICB finance teams for POD services.
• Provide information to ICBs relating to delegated services that is clear, accurate and timely.

I am working with a large, global law firm where they are looking for a Finance Director to join their team for a 12-month FTC. You will look after a specific division in the law firm as well as report into the CFO with dotted lines to the Managing Partner.


The Finance Director will have responsibility for the delivery of best practice financial management through:

• Strategic and operational planning
• Project management
• Communications/ business partnering
• Budgeting & financial reporting
• Partner with the Managing Partner, Partners and Directors (HR, Business Development, Operations) to develop, implement and review the global strategy and budget
• Regularly report on the comparison of the budget, results achieved and whether performance measures are being met
• Assist the Managing Partner to communicate results within the division and to the broader firm

Personal Profile

• Previous experience in a law firm, or a professional services environment with experience in time billing/ WIP
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA/QBE
• Business partnering with a Senior Executive team or Board
• Identifying profit drivers and improvement opportunities through the analysis of P&L
• Experience including general management with responsibility for all aspects of profit and loss
