The demand for Mental Health care has never been in higher in our communities and in our hospital, so we are very excited to establish a new Team of dedicated support workers to provide high quality Mental Health care.
-Demonstrate caring and compassion for your patients
-Provide direct care, including personal care, to adults with mental health care needs.
-To work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health presentations including mental illness, emotional distress, cognitive impairment, delirium & dementia.
-Maintain effective communication with patients, carers and Staff
-Work closely with all members of the care Team to provide the best for your patient

In order to undertake this role you must have:
- Experience working within an acute mental health setting within the past 12 months.
- Work a minimum of 2 shifts, in a rolling 3 month period and remain compliant with all essential training, to remain in post
- Please note you will be expected to do 5 days of induction within a week period
