Requirements

• A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience, including regional exposure in Southeast Asia or the broader Asia region, and/or experience with public listed companies, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth understanding of accounting standards, group consolidation, and taxation, preferably with some background in external auditing.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities, with a proven ability to work hands-on with team members.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English

Role Summary:

This position is responsible for all aspects of accounting and tax operations, including the development and maintenance of accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The role also involves ensuring adequate controls and governance over business operations processes.

Main Responsibilites:

• • Overall responsible for performing accounting functions including general accounting (from internal/external communication, data processing), management accounting and financial accounting by finance system operation, AR, AP & GL management, payment & collection management, intercompany transaction management, month-end balance reconciliation etc.

  • Handling/reviewing accounting data entries into system.

  • Prepare for /support response to Internal/ External Audit.

Requirement:

Job Descriptions

• Prepare monthly closing reports (departmental financial performances, profit and loss, cash flow)
• Prepare monthly environmental, social and governance report to the Group
• Prepare weekly debtor aging for weekly discussion on collection
• Monitor completeness and accuracy of finance postings from HIS to FIS
• Review finance activities in FIS to ensure accounting entries are accurately recorded
• Support Finance Manager with any ad-hoc reports and process improvements
• Liaise with auditor and tax agent for yearly statutory audit and tax return submissions queries
