We have a rare opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join our small Finance Team at Rockford Head Office in Rendlesham, Suffolk. Prior accounts experience is essential, and the ideal candidate would be an AAT qualifier as a minimum. We would welcome candidates who wish to continue with their studies.
Hours 7.45am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
7.45am -12.45pm Friday (1 Friday off every 4 weeks!)
Pay
Circa £23k to £25k per annum dependent on experience

Main Responsibilities
• Nominal ledger reconciliation and control account checks
• Journal posting
• Assist with audit requirements
• Assist with management account preparation
• Assist with cash flow preparation
• Identity areas for improvement within the department and assist with their implementation
• Stock control
• Purchase ledger, processing invoices and statement reconciliations
• Daily monitoring of purchase ledger inbox
• Credit ledger review
• Other ad hoc finance duties as required
• Answering telephone queries
• Entering payments
• Set up and verification of suppliers
• Assistance of monitoring of order book
• Ad hoc reporting
Experience / Skills / Attributes
• Prior experience in an Accounts role (Essential)
• Minimum of AAT qualifier or similar
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to meet internal and external targets
• Effective communicator
• Able to manage personal workload and prioritise
• Good attention to detail
• Organising, prioritising and problem-solving skills
• Admin and IT Skills – competent with Microsoft packages, outlook and Ops II
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
