The Wealth Products and Operations Control Testing Team is responsible for the testing of controls that are designed and owned by Citi’s Wealth Product and Operations departments.

This position reports to the Wealth Products and Operations Control Testing Head within the Citi COO organization’s Central Testing Utility; and is an execution-oriented individual contributor position accountable for end-to-end controls monitoring of the Wealth Products and Operations department – i.e., operational controls performance assurance/testing – which includes design, execution, results reporting, and insight sharing related to the above scope of controls monitoring/testing.

The Wealth Products and Operations Control Testing Leader is a subject matter expert on overall controls monitoring, with an excellent level of understanding of control testing and who closely follows latest trends in controls testing and adapts them for application within their own job and covered businesses and functions.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Supports team members on topics ranging from control testing design to performance management and control testing platforms basics.

Job Purpose:

Under the guidance of APAC Head of Counterparty Credit Risk, design and implement the strategy and governance framework for Counterparty Credit Risk across Citi APAC. CCR function includes portfolio management of CCR exposures across all Credit portfolios, oversight on CCR frameworks, pre-trade advisory on complex derivatives and addressing any remediation plans with the goal of bringing consistent thought process and actions to the CCR management in the region.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Help implement and operate the 2nd Line Counterparty Credit Risk and controls framework for Citi APAC. Direct the execution strategy for Pre-Settlement Exposure (PSE), Net Stress Exposure (NSE) and various CCR measurements standards across Citi APAC businesses in partnership with Credit Officers, Risk Analytics and Technology and key stakeholders in 1st Line of Defense including Banking, Markets and Institutional Credit Management
• Design and enhance new and existing frameworks, related standards, and procedures for CCR risk management. Partner with a wide range of stakeholders including Global CCR, Risk, Analytics and Technology and Business
• Ensure CCR frameworks, practices and policies applied to all market products, including all Over-The-Counter (OTC) Derivatives across Equity, Foreign Exchange (FX), Fixed Income, Commodities, Credit derivatives; Prime Brokerage, Futures and OTC Clearing, Securities Financing Transactions and Cash trading across all Credit portfolios
• Actively monitor CCR portfolio across business, risk stripes and legal vehicles on the quantum, trend, composition, and work in conjunction with Credit officers and Business partners to ensure CCR exposures remain within risk appetite.
• Focus on early warning and proactive problem recognition based on markets indicators and portfolio concentrations and timely escalate issues to senior management for any action or resolution
• Help 2nd line of defense Credit officers in pre-trade review, challenge, and what-if analysis for new complex derivatives activity with application of CCR frameworks for effective and efficient risk on-boarding
• Support Head of APAC CCR for CCR risk management council and sub-councils on various CCR frameworks related to PSE, Stress Testing etc. Prepare and present communications to senior management and forums on new initiatives
• Support APAC CCR head in regulatory interactions on the CCR portfolio. Manage increasing demands of regulatory oversight on CCR including ensuring timely and accurate inputs to regulators
• Oversee tracking and timely completion of any action plans related to any regulatory, internal audit or self-identified CCR issues in APAC and the remediation associated with CCR issues

Knowledge/Experience:

• Candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a large Financial Institution in Counterparty Credit Risk
• Strong understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk including Exposure and Initial Margin models, Stress testing, Wrong-Way Risk, Clearing and Settlement Risk
• Strong knowledge of Markets businesses and products across OTC, Prime Brokerage, Clearing and Security Financing /Repo and across range of assets classes and lines of business

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Partner with Senior Leaders in Onshore Citigold & Citi Private Client and International Personal Banking businesses in recommending, developing, and/or executing Human Capital strategies that enable them to achieve their strategic priorities and meet their goals and objectives
• Partner with business leaders and HR Specialist areas (e.g. Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Talent, etc.,) to design, plan, and implement broad HR programs, policies, and procedures in a way that is aligned with Citi’s global HR Operating Model and prioritizes the employee experience

This role is part of the Commercial Lending Management Unit. This team is part of the Citi Commercial Bank which specializes in providing trade finance, working capital finance and treasury solutions for Emerging Corporate and Mid Corporate clients in Singapore.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Interface with and support bankers in underwriting requests for commercial credit extensions for new and existing clients with ownership responsibilities for sound credit decisions and compliance with internal procedures/credit risk policy guidelines and standards.
• Prepare a detailed written credit summary of commercial applicants requesting credit by analyzing the business, interpreting the finance need, identifying the strengths and prevailing risk factors and rendering a final credit decision.
• Perform detailed financial analysis on companies, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information.
• Perform credit and personal financial statement analysis on individuals, guarantors, and co-borrowers in order to assess repayment capacity based on cash flow statements, tax returns, and statements.
• Perform industry and geographical research and other due diligence as needed.
• Maintain a solid understanding of Citibank products and services - within Small Business/Commercial Banking and the broader organization.
• Maintain compliance with Citibank credit policies/practices and regulatory policies, to ensure business unit is in adherence to the above and receives satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.

The Asia Citi Treasury Investment (CTI) Business Unit Manager (BUM) will work as part of the CTI Business Unit Management team supporting CTI Asia Funding desks located in both Singapore and Hong Kong. Provide daily support and insights, monitor activity and performance vs Plan, develop analytical tools for granular insights into the generated Economic Value, ensure the desk operates in compliance with the relevant internal and external policies and regulations, establish appropriate controls and governance framework for the legal entities. Collaborate with the rest of the CTI Analytics team on broader projects. CTI Asia TSY BUM will work with two Desks located in Singapore and Hong Kong . The BUM is expected to accommodate complexed demands as derived by TSY needs both locally and at CTI NY level. The role is expected to communicate and interact with Singapore and HK senior management, NY senior leadership team members (CTI COO Team and Central Funding Desk where needed in NYC), ICRM, Audit, Controllers and In-Business Risk team. The communication can be around the clock with minimal direct supervision, for example late night calls with NYC BUMs and Seniors

The CTI Asia BUM will ensure that all NY and Local Regulatory Requirements (for both CTI SG and CTI HK) and Compliance matters are complied to. This include the quarterly MCA process and to ensure alignment to CTI NY’s ACRMs. The BUM is expected to have proven leadership qualities and skillset as the role is expected to participate in problem solving activities and lead/handle ad-hoc requests along with daily BAU monitoring of compliance matters.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Interact with all CCB business functions and stakeholders, including ICRM, ORM, Operations, and Internal Audit, to identify key Compliance Risks and Policies impacting the Commercial business and working closely with the front line and support staff to ensure execution of key controls

• Have primary oversight over Asia CCBs implementation of the Fraud Risk Management Program, Data Governance, Privacy Policy, Conduct risk Program, Industry Events review and Regulatory Change management.
• Manage and lead the issue management in ensuring timely identification, documentation, opening and closing of issues and corrective action plans, lessons learnt exercise.
• Support CCB Asia’s growth strategy by proactively identifying areas of control enhancements and ensure necessary mitigants are in place.
• Proactively develop strategic initiatives, including leveraging digital/technology solutions to automate controls.
• Be responsible for communicating policy and regulatory changes to CCB front office staff including impact analysis and training, as needed.
• Run the Asia CCB Clusters Business Risk and Controls Forums (BRCF) and ensure emerging risks and control matters are appropriately discussed and evaluated and escalated timely and as appropriate to governance forums.
