Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Manage the financial performance of business in Greater China, including the full P/L performance and working capital management, drive other strategic and operational initiatives for the business, and enable the delivery of the financial plans.
You are responsible for
- To drive and grow business value in the region by setting and achieving financial and strategic targets.
- To own and manage the strategic and operational (business / financial) planning process and performance management within the commercial organization and drives for the delivery of the committed results.
- Responsible for BMC / performance cockpit and drives the delivery of the business and financial plans.
- Drive analysis of business performance: sales, pricing, margin, credit management and costs (incl. marcom spend)
- Identifying, addressing, and tracking of business issues
- Enabling functions supervisory responsibility: control actual expenses, recharge hosted heads ensuring SLA structure is in place, performing true-ups according to contractual agreements, planning future costs and preparing tax back-up documentation for external costs.
- Optimal funding and financial risk assessment (sensitivity analysis, cost/benefit analysis, net present value calculations), project accounting understanding, knowledge of tax implications of different financing solutions, contract law basic knowledge
- Manage and develop teams in finance organization.
- Build compliance culture and establish a strong internal control environment in the organization.
You are a part of
Professional Finance team of Philips Greater China, based in Shanghai, report to Finance Business Partner, Greater China.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- As an expert in the field, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.
- Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Having the experience in leading changes.
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years and a Master’s degree.
- MBA background and overseas experience is a plus.
- CPA or equivalent accounting license holder is a plus.
