Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work in a team that can offer dedicated training on their machinery and varied production areas.

This is a great opportunity to join a personable team, and where there is a very low turnover in staff on site.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

• Split between PPM (Nights Bias) and Reactive Maintenance (Days Bias).
• Mechanical working on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, bearings, pipework and steam systems (Experience of all the above is not required as training can be provided).
• Updating maintenance system and handing over to the following shift team.
• Working as part of a mixed team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Working on varied production lines, including mill machinery, biomass and treatment plant.

The Successful Maintenance Engineer:

• You will have previous experience as a Mechanical engineer within an industrial environment or similar.
• Any Mechanical qualifications will be advantageous.

- Mechanical at RAF Syerston, working under MAA Pt145/RA4801. We are looking for an individual who is able to lead and supervise engineering personnel, carrying out maintenance on Viking and other contract-related aircraft at RAF Syerston and other locations throughout the UK.
Main accountabilities:


- Carry out the responsibilities and duties of Support Staff with Supervisory Responsibilities in accordance with Serco GMS Military Regulation Publication (MRP) Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Military Aviation Authority (MAA) MRP Part 145 and Regulatory Article (RA) 4801.
- Maintenance (Preventative, Corrective and Scheduled) and associated activities (i.e. Manpower, Tasks and Spares prioritisation) on Viking and other contract-related aircraft at RAF Syerston and 2 Flying Training School (FTS) locations/Volunteer Gliding Squadrons (VGSs)/detachments throughout the UK.
- Management, supervision, participation in and control of aircraft activities including but not limited to; ground movement and preparation for transportation.
- Leadership, management, supervision and control of assigned maintenance teams.

Your New Role
Develop and design electrical systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Produce detailed design packages, including schematics, layouts, and specifications for electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs with other building services.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of electrical installations.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes.

Your new role
Your new role will be located in East Nottingham and easily accessible by car or public transport.
Yourmain responsibilities are:

• Delivery of MEP documentation on projects in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain professional working relationships with clients.
• Attend meetings and keep on top of communications with clients and colleagues.
• Communicate and if necessary escalate any problems to manager when problems arise on projects so they can be resolved quickly.

Youwill be required to:

• Managing MEP projects
• Be responsible for reviewing work produced by more junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have at least 4 years design experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with the RIBA stage of construction design work.
• Must have experience of different types of design contracts including design and build and traditional.
• Understanding of the importance of data confidentiality and employee's wellbeing.
• Computer literate in software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Electrical OM, Revit and Dialux.
• Ideally the candidate will be a chartered engineer with the ICE.
• A master's degree in engineering or physics or science-based degree.
• Membership to CIBSE, IET or IMechE

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Mechanical and Electrical Design team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive designs, detailed drawings, and intricate schematics using a suite of current software tools. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work complies with legal and technical regulations, codes of practice, or guidelines.

Main Purpose

-Building Fabric

Duties & Responsibilities

-Delivering hard services planned PPM programme to include all statutory maintenance as per legal requirement.
-Mobile engineer covering 8 schools in the Midlands Area.
-Respond to all reactive building fabric works as per direction from the helpdesk and Maintenance Manager
-Carry out all planned works, installations and repairs as per the current regulations
-Provide assistance when required to mechanical, plumbing and electrical reactive works, where qualified, as per requirement of the Maintenance Manager and the contract requirements.
-Assist in project planning, estimation and stock control of critical mechanical / building fabric spares
-Work to the site-specific Rams for the contract and as detailed within your safety briefings.
-Work as part of team to deliver the highest standards for the client.
-Maintain high customer service standards, working alongside the client and the teams.

Skills & Knowledge

-City & Guild, apprenticeship or relevant experience in building fabric maintenance.
-Qualifications and relevant experience in mechanical, plumbing planned and reactive maintenance an advantage.
-Experience of utilising CAFM systems and PDA’s whilst carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
-Planning and organizing own workload to meet SLA targets.
-Previous experience of working in schools an advantage.
