• You will serve as a technical advisor to the Assistant Chief Engineer for Surface Ships.
• You will interpret and ensure compliance with technical requirements, standards and policies.
• You will develop, modify and implement process improvement initiatives.
• You will develop and coordinate technical training within the Surface Ship Engineering Division.
• You will write informational articles on process improvements, quality initiatives and training programs.

• You will provide project management and oversight for Geospatial Information and Services (GI+S) projects and initiatives that support the GeoReadiness program mission and goals.
• You will coordinate project schedule and scope and monitor progress to ensure that work proceeds in a satisfactory manner.
• You will conduct review on GIS work products to confirm that program standards and technical requirements are met.
• You will work with users and customers to identify project and task requirements.

1. As an AFIMSC Project Manager (PM), executes projects for substantial new construction, renovations, and improvements for real property facilities, encompassing highly specialized or unique requirements, in accordance with all DoD, Air Force, international agreements, and applicable host nation laws and regulations.
2. Collaborates with engineers, scientists, and other expert personnel at federal agencies, higher headquarters (HQ USAF, AF MAJCOMs, and FOAs) installation organizations, host nation agencies, other military services, and private organizations to ensure effective identification, evaluation, and provide a unique solution to complex engineering project management issues.
3. Provides resource management support.
4. Provides technical expertise to activities, staff, installations, and other organizations in order to resolve difficult/unusual facilities planning, design, construction, and/or maintenance problems/issues.
5. Communicates critical issues to staff agencies, installations, and superiors.

• You will be responsible for management of operations and recurring maintenance programs for the physical structures maintained by NAVFAC.
• You will ensure that products adhere to scope of work, completeness, functional design, sound engineering practice, and compliance with applicable codes and criteria.
• You will develop or revise NAVFAC facility maintenance and repair policies to ensure optimal service life and effective operation.
• You will identify resources (e.g., personnel, funding, equipment, facilities) required to support various levels of program operations.
• You will develop and provide various levels of training and information for the Public Works Facility Sustainment program.
