Overview
Our client is looking to strengthen their existing operational crews with multiple Front End and Back End Line Maintainers based on a continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off, 12-hour days and nights) and 14 days off, every 5th week! + 18.75 days additional (Shift Swaps encouraged for flexibility AND chance to work back BH's)
The successful candidates will be working on continuous inter-conveying vertical and horizontal lines inclusive of power press equipment. You will be required to both run and maintain your end/process area, delivering planned preventive maintenance, machine overhauls and recovery support, and complete regulatory compliance checks across all equipment as and when required in line with SOP's.
IDEALLY:
- You will ideally have completed either a Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering apprenticeship or have achieved an Engineering ONC/HNC level qualification or equivalent - FMCG Heavy Industry Candidates OR alternate Apprenticeship/Time-served experience (NVQ/HGV etc) (Skilled RATE)
- Prior experience of working with power presses will be advantageous, along with experience in machining using a lathe, milling machine and surface grinder; welding experience (Tig/Mig); fitting skills including scraping; knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, and an ability to read schematic drawings. (Skilled RATE)
- You must have the ability to work well in a team but also be able to manage your own workload ensuring tasks are completed within the specified timescales. - a TEAM PLAYER is a MUST!

Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: £44,000 - £53,800 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications, skills-matrix based, PLEASE NOTE this means you will not automatically achieve the maximum renumeration, this can be discussed upon application). - Opportunities to add skills (cross-team) for additional pay increments!
