Randstad are currently looking for a Site Engineer, to work across predominantly across the London area, with some requirement to work in the Home Counties sometimes.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 (depending upon experience)

The Project:
This client has a diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes ranging from major highways schemes, local roads, maintenance works and specialist framework projects.
The specific projects that you would be working on initially would be on a highways scheme and therefore experience in this area would be advantageous.
The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity working with a well known civils contractor, who hold an excellent reputation Nationwide.
This role will be site based, with the occasional need to spend time in the Head Office.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting out areas, using drawings provided
- Quality Assurance
- Carrying out precise works to project specifications
- Keeping site records and diaries
- Writing and reviewing RAMS
- ITPs
- Health & Safety compliance
- Liaising with site staff
Requirements:
- Degree / HND qualified
- AutoCAD
- Use of Total Stations or GPS
- Experience in - highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks and special works
- Ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly and concisely
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work within a team
