We are currently looking for engineering technicians to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate some engineering background but not necessarily the skill level of a qualified engineer, this is a great opportunity to join a business that can offer development into a maintenance engineering position.
The role sits above the machine operators within the structure and reporting into an engineer. You will work alongside the operators to ensure efficient upkeep of machinery, conducting first line fault finding, service and repair on production/process machinery.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualified in a relevant engineering subject.
- Some hands-on experience within any form of manufacturing or production based engineering.
- An understanding of fault finding and repair at a basic level.
- You could have worked in any mechanical or electrical position previously.
- Job titles could have included: Fitter, technician, craftsman, assembly, service, maintenance, repair, technical operator, manufacturing technician, production technician and other similar titles.
