MEICA Commissioning Engineer

As a MEICA Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful commissioning and handover of complex water treatment projects. You will work closely with project teams, manage the commissioning process, and ensure all MEICA systems meet design specifications and performance criteria. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Commissioning Planning: Developing and executing comprehensive commissioning plans for new and upgraded water treatment facilities, collaborating with project engineers and stakeholders.
- System Testing: Conducting thorough testing of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) systems to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Identifying and resolving technical issues during the commissioning process, using your expertise to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed commissioning records, test results, and reports, ensuring proper documentation of all activities and outcomes.
- Coordination and Communication: Working effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and clear understanding of commissioning progress.
- Quality Assurance: Adhering to industry best practices, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures throughout the commissioning process.
What we are looking for:
- A proven track record as a MEICA Commissioning Engineer within the water treatment industry
- Strong understanding of MEICA systems and equipment commonly used in water treatment plants, including pumps, motors, instrumentation, control systems, and automation technologies.
- Experience with commissioning procedures, testing methodologies, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.
- A commitment to safety and quality, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
- A valid UK driving license.
