MGF are currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join a leading Temporary Works Engineering department, based in Livingston, Scotland.
Specialising in temporary works design, the successful candidates will be working within an engineering team with full tech responsibility for your own projects.
You will be required to use your industry experience to support MGF’s engineering team with complex, below, and above ground structural support schemes, offering technical assistance to the wider engineering team. Your design solutions will be based around MGF’s modular hire fleet, but not excluding bespoke structural steel, timber, and concrete as required.

• Recent experience of working as a Desktop Engineer.
• Experience working with Intune.
• Experience in customer service and has ideally supported a remote workforce or remote working businesses.
• Experience of supporting end user computing services (including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, laptops and mobile devices) is essential.
• Recent experience of using ServiceNow would be advantageous.
• Methodical approach to problem solving, works through a problem in a controlled, logical manner using a consistent approach enabling an efficient resolution to both simple and complex problems.
• Able to complete allocated tasks with minimum supervision to meet the SLA timescales.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Should be capable of communicating effectively with colleagues from all areas of the organisation using a variety of techniques.

We are looking for a Finance Manager to head up our internal Accounts Team. Working within our Ashford Head Office, the role reports into the Managing Director and includes managing a team of 4 accounts & finance professionals.

The day-to-day duties include:

• Overseeing the team and assisting with any queries or issues they may have
• Preparing clear and concise reports and accounts for the Senior Management Team
• Month End accounts
• Internal Payroll of 25-30 staff
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Budget preparation
• Monthly VAT returns
• Working alongside our external accountants
• Provide consultative advice and discussion to the Senior Management Team
• Produce and manage Profit & Loss reports
• Overseeing the 360 accounts function inclusive of external payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger, expenses and cash-flow

Requirements for the role:

• Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified, or working towards or exceptional QBE
• Experience of Management Accounts

IT Systems Engineer – FULL TIME - PERMANANT
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and dynamic individual who is passionate about IT.
The successful candidate will support the IT manager in the installation, upgrade, support and maintenance of the college’s IT systems, network, and services. They will also provide outstanding IT and network support for both the teaching & learning, and service & support areas of the college.
The successful candidate will be required to contribute to IT projects and stand in for the IT Manager when needed. They will play a key role in ensuring the success of our upcoming IT projects, including Network and Server upgrades, Windows 11 testing and deployment, and Cloud migrations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, along with a strong work ethic and good time management skills. The successful candidate will have a good standard of English and Maths and a level 4/5 in Computer Science (or relevant area) is essential along with an in depth understanding of the Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID.
The salary range for this role is in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay, Spine Points 22-25 - £36,417 to £39,321 full time equivalent. The starting salary will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications.
