The role
BMP Tech One Pty Ltd is an Australian owned IT software development and recruitment company with a specialisation in providing AI based test automation and staffing solutions. BMP is focused on providing ICT & IT services solutions around Australia, with locations in Sydney. Auckland (New Zealand), and Singapore. We are energetic and dynamic in what we do across a wide range of business technology solutions - including IT Services, Managed Services, Test Automation, Salesforce, Cyber Security, Web and Digital Development, Helpdesk Support Services and much more.
We need a specialist with experience in software development. You will need skills in understanding the clients' existing business requirements for approval by client, roll out the interfaces and rigorously test them pre and post production. This role is a full-time permanent position.
Role: Senior Software Engineer
Mode: Permanent
Salary: $ 120, 000 - $ 130,000/Annum + Super
Location: Barangaroo, Sydney.
Hours: 40 Hrs.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify technical solutions, and deliver impactful projects
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that meets established standards and best practices
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of our software
Research and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to continuously improve our solutions
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in full-stack development
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++)
Hands-on experience with web application frameworks, databases, and cloud-based architectures
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to tackle complex technical challenges
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends and best practices
