Are you a skilled engineer passionate about making a difference? Thales UK is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Industrial Process Engineer. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects while working in a diverse and inclusive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing effective Methods support to ensure the most economical and cost-effective methods of manufacture.
- Utilising team resources efficiently and implementing best practice engineering solutions.
- Supporting the achievement of project objectives and promoting schedule and budget adherence.
- Collaborating with multi-functional teams to ensure new products meet Design for Manufacture and Assembly requirements.
- Developing and leading cost reduction programs and implementing innovative manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in an engineering discipline preferred, but HND with extra experience accepted.
- Proven engineering experience within a Manufacturing Engineering role.
- Working knowledge of statistical methods, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and product life cycle phases.
- Experience in estimating techniques, machine programming, mechanical processes, or assembly processes.
- Financial awareness, process control, design for manufacture and assembly, and problem-solving skills.
