This Coil Operative position is working for our client that offer engineering components and services to their clients. They also pride themselves in providing a maintenance service for gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment.

This position will be working in their coil manufacturing facility. Full training is provided on this position.

Skills Required:

Job Duties:

• Dismantling electric motors using hand tools.
• Taking all windings out using chisel/hammer operation.

• Using chemicals to wash motor casing and steam cleaning.
• Using short blaster to clean all motor parts.
• Using crane operations for all activities
• Training provided.

Working Hours are Monday - Friday

A family run, local manufacturing business in the heart of london are seeking an ambitious trainee maintenance engineer to join their team on a full time basis.

The site is full of industrial mechanical equipment and in order to keep production running they have a small team of highly skilled engineers handling all planned maintenance and mechanical repairs for example changing rollers, conveyor repairs, pumps, gearboxes, motors, cutting equipment, power tools, press machinery and more.

The purpose of this position is to support the engineering team and act as the first response to breakdowns. You will be supported and "buddied up" with a senior engineer to learn first hand the mechanical aspects of the site. Day to day you will be responsible for fault finding and repairs, setting pressure department equipment, as well as assisting with the weekly planned maintenance schedule.

The Requirements:

• Experience working with mechanical equipment or on an industrial site.
• You must be professional and passionate to develop within the engineering industry.
• You must ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site at all times.
• You must be able and have the right to work full time in the UK.
• Willingness to progress within the manufacturing/engineering team is expected.

Search are working in partnership with global powerhouse Siemens & Universal Skills Group to provide a training and employment opportunity in Dual Fuel Metering/Smart Metering. These roles are fully funded and there are no age restrictions on who can apply.

Your Journey

Your Training is fully funded by us, and accommodation is provided where required. You will also be paid whilst on training as per below.

First 26 Weeks - £23,100 (pro rata)
After 26 Weeks - £27,000 (pro rata)
After 52 weeks- Full Dual Fuel Salary £37,000 or £39,000 inside the M25


Once your initial training and learning period of just over 12 months is complete and you are fully qualified and experienced, you will be paid the Dual Fuel salary which currently stands at £37k or £39k inside the M25 attendance plus bonuses and overtime - OTE 47k+

You Must

* Hold a minimum 1 years driving experience
* Have no more than 6 points on your licence
* Be willing to cover emergency call out
* Have excellent communication and customer service skills
* Be manually dexterous
* Be capable of lifting & manual handling
* Be able to work in confined spaces
* Be able to pass a colour blindness test
* Be able to travel to our Training centre in Wakefield for 7 weeks of the first 15 weeks before you are provided with a work vehicle
* Be able to commence training and have no holidays booked for the first 15 weeks

Are you a Trainee Engineer who has recently completed their NVQ in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration course and has a full UK driving license looking for the next step in your career?

Our client has over 50 years of experience within the industry and has well established prestigious contracts across London and the Home Counties. They are renowned for their development of Engineers and award-winning training programmes.

You will be responsible for assisting senior Engineers conducting service, maintenance, repair and installation of various Chiller systems as well as working with additional HVAC systems.
