Position Overview
We are looking for a remote intern to work on the core web applications, frameworks, and shared libraries that power the Autodesk Construction Solutions backend. Our customers are building some of the most amazing construction projects on the planet, and you will develop the platform their software runs on. During your time, you will be paired with another team member who will guide you in learning our technical infrastructure and assisting you on your projects.
Responsibilities
Develop, and deliver cloud-based back-end applications to improve product availability, scalability, and performance
Conduct code reviews with a blameless and learning mindset
Create reusable automation libraries, patterns, and APIs that can be shared across the enterprise on a unified platform
Work with open-source tools, rich dashboards, and implement proactive monitoring solutions
Support our existing public cloud solutions and workloads
Work on our platforms reliability, scalability, and extensibility
Coordinate and perform minor and major upgrades with zero downtime
Minimum Qualifications
Study in a bachelor's degree like computer science or software engineering
Understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, theory basics)
Experience in languages such as Node.js
Experience with AWS is a plus
You strive for understanding, build the appropriate solution, and iterate quickly to provide high impact results
You love building elegant and maintainable code: Abstracting and refactoring is a passion, not a chore
You have a high degree of customer empathy and drive to understand users' pain points

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
- $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
