Your new role
Your new role will see you joining the existing structural engineering team of 24 as a Senior Structural Engineer. Though not essential, it is highly desirable that you will be a Chartered Member of either the ICE or IStructE, and as a minimum requirement are on the path to gaining these professional qualifications.

Design software experience with AutoCAD and TEDDs is essential with exposure to the likes of Revit and Tekla desirable.

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their client's dynamic team in Weymouth. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through the implementation and continuous improvement of their quality management system.

Your Role:

In this hands on role, you will work closely with the Operations and Engineering teams to improve product performance and eliminate failures. As the first point of contact for quality issues, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving any issues that arise. This will involve creating and implementing plans, conducting audits, and providing technical support as needed.

In addition, you will chair project meetings and participate in risk assessments to identify potential quality issues and develop solutions to mitigate them. You will also be responsible for conducting warranty analysis and ensuring that any necessary improvements are made to our products.

Your Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing / Aerospace environment. A degree in Engineering or a related field is required, along with experience working with quality standards and processes such as ISO 9000 and NADCAP

Your new role
Your new role will see you working as an Intermediate Electrical Building Services Engineer working across the above-mentioned sectors. You will be working closely with Senior Engineers and taking guidance from stakeholders and, progress your career in a positive direction and push yourself to become a better engineer. Which is what it's all about.
The software the company uses are: Revit, DiaLUX, ReLUX, and AutoCAD.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you must have a minimum of 3 years' UK Building Services electrical design experience.
You will have drive and personality and be counted on.
You will also possess a minimum of 3 years UK working rights remaining on any visa you may hold.
