- MLCC production control in Japan headquarter & factories

- MLCC production control in oversea affiliates: China & ASEAN

POSITION PROFILE:

This position works closely with global affiliates, especially Japan counterparts, to develop and improve production control systems for higher productivity, accurate forecast, and on-time delivery. Recommend changes to current practices and works with business representatives to define requirements and propose appropriate solutions. Display a high level of organizational awareness and leadership skills by working in a collaborative manner with other departments within the organization.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as an expert of Production Control and guide for specialized subjects.
• Understand the language/terms/jargon in production control expertise.
• Act as the “go to” person within a department for questions and problems.
• Explain expertise clearly and give advice.
• Promote Innovation in the Organization.
• Help to improve the business performance by identifying the problematic areas and proposing relevant technical solutions.
• Work with business representatives to define requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Align operation change with related parties and follow up system development & implementation schedule.

• Be a bridge to connect with Japan headquarter planning and production control in horizontal deployment as well as seeking partnership in new development projects.

• To have more than 4 years working experience in electronics manufacturing industry.

Position Summary:

Performs the calibration and validation of test and data analysis equipment and systems used for clinical research, trials and product testing. Assists in equipment selection, specification and negotiation of competitive pricing. Maintains all documentation pertaining to qualification and validation. May develop procedures and/or protocols. Also serves as information resource for validation technicians, contractors and vendors.

Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Represent the Instrument Operations Validation group as the validation subject matter expert in manufacturing operations value streams and project teams, ensuring validation requirements and deliverables are communicated to the teams.
• Develop and articulate robust strategies for validation of processes and systems through development and release of holistic validation plans.
• In collaboration with end users, process owners, quality engineers and other team members, develop validation protocols and oversee execution of IQ, OQ, PQ for manufacturing processes and systems.
• Work with end users and process owners to collect data to support protocol requirements, analyze data collected and create validation reports. Coordinate with end users and process owners to resolve identified issues to bring validation to acceptable levels.
• Write report summarizing results and statistics for all the validation projects.
• Support Change Request and Change Notification (CR/CN) activities and provide Validation Impact Assessment.
• Be accountable for timely completion of all validation deliverables in accordance with manufacturing needs and project timelines.
• Review existing validation reports and identifies gaps for compliance. Develop strategies and plan to close the gaps in an efficient and technical manner.
• Participate as an active member for new product development teams.
• Participate in project management meetings as Validation representatives determining validation requirements, as needed.
• Learn and understand the applicable technology and engage in technical discussions.
• Identify areas and opportunities to improve manufacturing facilities, processes, and equipment.
• Collaborate and provide consultation to other departments performing validation activities.
• Ensure validation program meets requirement of FDA (21 CFR Part 11) and ISO 13845.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Junior Staff.

Position Requirements:

• Related Validation experience in the life science industry (i.e. medical device/IVD, pharmaceutical, biotech) is preferred.

• Knowledge and working application of validation principles and guidelines and industry practice, FMEA, and Risk Management.
• Knowledge and working application of reding and understanding of technical drawings.
• Knowledge and working application of Standard Operation Procedures.

• Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic work environment with ability to manage projects methodically.

• ValGenesis eVLMS and Teamcenter PLM experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Statistics, SPC and DOE is a plus.

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the health and carrying out maintenance of manufacturing equipment to produce the highest quality product.
• Continuously evaluate new ideas and optimize/improve tool capabilities to attain benchmark performance.
• Partnering with the Equipment and Process Engineering peers to simplify and increase efficiency for operation on the equipment.
• Identify disruptive equipment early, work with Equipment and Process peers to identify viable methods on early detection and resolution or elimination of the issue.
• Lead team or suppliers on challenging projects in focused meetings with end goal of delivering highest quality and cost effective product.
• Identify and resolve safety hazards. Follow Safety procedures including lockout, chemical safety, lifting techniques and ergonomics.
• Adhere to fab disciplines in line with the values of Micron.
• Strict alignment to Micron Intellectual Property protection policy is a requirement

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

• Carry out in-house preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all facilities, building and services system.
• Attend to day-to-day maintenance operations for all facilities, building and services system and maintain proper records of maintenance checklists and documentations.
• Liaising and coordinating with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep all the above systems in operational state.
• Perform standby / duty to attend to system fault during or after office hours, weekends and public holidays when needed.
• Minimise all facilities, building and services downtime during operation.
• Log, update and maintain all facilities, building and services spare parts, tools and instruments.
• To be able to work under sub-zero environment and no phobia of heights.
• To inform immediate superiors/duty personnels for all faults/alarms/abnormalities for all systems.

Job Requirement:

• Nitec/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing industry
• Hands-on and strong technical competencies in equipment maintenance
• Must be physically fit, no colour blind and height phobia
• Ability to work under pressure and tight schedules
• Proficiency in both English & Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)
• Willingness to perform shift work, 5 days workweek
