Role & Responsibilities:

• PPM and reactive maintenance on pumps / sluices / motors / gearboxes
• Complete planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance work in a number of different environments
• Reading OEM Manuals and Technical Drawings.
• Maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Carry out duties with due care and attention, adhering to the companies Health & Safety Policy and HSE regulations
• Liaise with operations to prioritise rectification of unserviceable machinery using fault finding diagnostic methodologies and equipment; minimising reactive maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• NVQ3 In a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline
• Strong Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• 5+ years in practical engineering
• Strong digital skills including SAP
• Management / Supervisory experience - beneficial
• Good level of understanding of Engineering Management Systems and Processes.
• Must hold UK Driver's Licence
• Ability to ensure quality standards are met and maintained when conducting maintenance and recording maintenance feedback

Role & Responsibilities:

• Working on the Maintenance of conveyor belt systems, pan mixers, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Carry out basic welding and fabrication repairs.
• Take a proactive approach to providing continuous improvement to minimise downtime on site.
• Ability to review and improve PPM systems and processes for a growing business.
• Basic Electrical knowledge

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• The ideal candidate would have one of the following qualifications CGLI, NVQ, BTEC or HNC
• Holder of a IOSH or recognised Safety Training Certificate
• Time Service as a Maintenance Engineer
• Fabrication and Welding experience

The main aspect of the role will be carrying out Landlord’s Gas Safety Checks within our customers’ homes and will include the repair and maintenance of Gas central heating boilers and associated heating systems. Although you will be predominantly working on natural gas appliances, qualifications in LPG, OIL or Air source heating would be beneficial.

The ideal candidate will hold the following:

• CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CPA1, CKR1, HTR1
• Unvented Hot Water Systems, Oil & LPG qualified, HETAS, and ASHP would be beneficial
• Full, clean driving licence.

You will be provided with the associated battery powered tools to complete your tasks and be provided with a Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser. You’ll need to have a full, clean driving licence, willing to work 40 hours per week and be prepared to join an on-call rota.

This is a field based role travelling across the the Bristol area and South Gloucestershire region. Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will be completed for the successful applicant.

As part of a well established maintenance team you will be carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, promoting safe working practices and responding to emergency breakdowns across the site when needed.

This is a dayshift position and the hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Friday 7.30 anm - 2pm
