This is a Full-time on-site role located in Kapar for an Engineering & Maintenance Manager. The Engineering & Maintenance Manager will be responsible of service and planned the safe working of all employees allied to maximising efficiencies. Ensure the proper functioning of these assets while coordinating with other departments to optimize the company's overall use of resources.

Job Description:

• Overall responsible for managing the Engineering & Maintenance Department.
• To study, plan and organize factory machinery, equipment & utilities upkeep & preventive maintenance works in order to reduce breakdown and effective repairs so as to achieve Engineering & Maintenance Department target and objectives.
• To liaise and work closely with production staff in order to optimize performance of plant machinery.
• To plan & organize the deployment of personnel and assignment of works.
• To oversee the Engineering Store operation.
• Liaise with overseas/local vendors and contractors pertaining to outsourcing of spare parts & services.
• Liaise closely with procurement and study together in order to get the optimum pricing, services and delivery timing.
• Ensure that the department adhere to the company procurement process & procedure e.g. proposal, verification and approval and on a timely manner.
• Ensure timely completion & submission of reports and document (e.g. MRRF, PR, and etc) for processing.
• Monitoring the department, staff and vendor performance (accurate recording, data analysis and etc).
• To ensure the department recording and filing and others in accordance with QMS.
• Overseeing and verification of contractor's work and performance.
• To overall look into/manage the manpower requirement, workers' absenteeism, health & safety issue and disciplinary issue. If required to consult HR department for further action.
• To train, develop and motivate subordinate to achieve better performance.
• To ensure company's rules & regulations are adhered and enforced.
• To carry out any other duties that may assigned by the management.

Responsibilities / Requirements

• Capable to review automation application needs, mainly in robot programming & sequencing , machine control automation, and execution of the project.
• Monitoring team schedule of delivery of robot system.

Job Scope

1) Manage construction activities and progress independently, able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements.

2) Supervise structural/architectural works, co-ordinate with client's representatives. 3) Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub contractor to perform on site works. 4) Resolve design site problems encounter during the construction period. 5) Ensure the quality of work.

6) Responsible for implementing the work plan of the project manager.

7) Prepare daily progress report and work schedule .

8) Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on site.

Job Purpose

Primary Responsibilities

Operation

• Plan daily engineering staff briefing with Director of Engineering and assist in distributing daily work assignments

• Schedule and document planned and unplanned maintenance programs for the various systems such as (not limited to) the following:

Air-conditioning & electrical, refrigeration, FLS equipment, building maintenance including furniture & fixtures, painting, parts renewal & repairs, kitchen and laundry equipment, low voltage (LV), guest rooms, F&B outlets, function/banquet areas, front/back of the house, plumbing & drainage

• Supervise and provide constructive feedback to all team members to ensure safe work practices, efficient operation, proper preventative maintenance and repair to equipment

• Assist in the preparation of consumption reports on power, water, steam, and gas

• Ensure that maintenance & repairs performed by contractors are executed in accordance with agreed health and safety policy, contracts, fees or charges

• Review work flow and provide Director of Engineering with possible improvements to increase efficiency

• Coordinate and inform Director of Engineering of any disruptions to service of any kind

• Ensure that all the first aid kits are available for use in their proper places.
• To supervise the operations of Air-conditioning plant, boilers, pumps etc.

• Ensure that desired level of water is maintained in water storage tanks.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the E-house components of the FPSO project. Coordinate with engineering interdisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of E-house systems.
• Be the first point of contact for any E-house related engineering issue.
• Lead a team of engineers, topside design contractor, and E-house module EPC contractors to conduct engineering design, support the integration, construction, and commissioning activities until project delivery.
• Review and approve design specifications for E-houses, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with project stakeholders to address any design issues or modifications.
• Oversee the engineering design, construction and assembly of E-houses, ensuring adherence to project timelines, specification requirements, budget constraints, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor work and resolve any issues.
• Attend FATs, and any oversea technical clarification meetings as required.
• Involve in technical discussions and technical review for electrical studies.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the E-house systems are built to specification. Conduct design review, technical clarification meetings, and validation of E-house system design.
• Work with E-house contractor and topside design houses to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to E-house engineering design.
• Prepare and present reports on project status, issues, and achievements.
• Identify and resolve any technical, or project management issues that arise during the E-house design, construction and commissioning phases. Implement corrective actions as needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or any advanced certifications (e.g. PMP) or degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering coordination, with a focus on electrical systems and E-houses, preferably in FPSO or offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of E-house design, construction, and commissioning. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
