Manpower Engineering are delighted to be working with a Global organisation to help them find a Cost Engineer.
This is a contract role with a duration of 12 months and the hours of work are 37.5 Monday to Friday
In this role you will be working in a small projects team with a portfolio of £25M (with individual projects ranging from <£1M & 1-5M
The main function of this role is to
- Perform or Coordinate effort for Cost Estimate preparation
- Estimate oversight and quality assurance reviews
- Prepare Check Estimates and Schedules
- Verify project costs and schedules
- Conduct and manage Capital purchases of equipment
- Compile a monthly cost "health" report to identify any at risk projects.
You will also take responsibility for maintaining change control, producing cost reports, coordinate and prepare monthly progress reports.
To be considers for this role you will have worked in a similar position previously, have a BSc in Engineering or equivalent professional experience, have excellent negotiation and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a good understanding of SAP and an advanced level of proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning and Project Planning,
