KSD Support Services Limited (part of the KSD Group) is one of the fastest growing, privately owned, building maintenance and facilities management support services companies in the UK, delivering high levels of service to key blue-chip clients such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons.
Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for responding in a prompt and effective manner to reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM), as allocated by the Helpdesk.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however KSD Support Services Ltd may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.
- Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken e.g., completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job;
- Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times, in accordance with all technical standards;
- To build positive working relationships with clients and ensure that all work is completed to a satisfactory level;
- Participate in the 'out of hour’s service on a rota basis to ensure all issues are dealt with promptly.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Experience in but not limited to: Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing, Tiling, Rendering, and Plastering and Painting and Decorating;
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence;
- Have a positive 'can do’ attitude;
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team;
- Great attention to detail;
- Good communication and customer service skills;
- Full industry recognised qualification obtained to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent;
- CSCS Card;
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate;
- IPAF - Mobile Vertical (3a) + (3b) Mobile Boom desirable;
- PASMA - Mobile Access Tower for Users desirable.
Working Days/Hours:
- Must be flexible with working days/hours, working away, early starts, late finishes and some weekends;
- Regular overtime available.
