Field Service Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer to join a longstanding and well established company based just outside of Southampton. They have been operating for over 50+ years and land the Field Service Engineer will support the company's continued growth into 2024 and beyond. The company are proud to be able to help and serve their customers and have a very good reputation in the market they are in. The equipment that they provide helps in some part to change peoples lives and the equipment will continue to support them in their everyday life.

The Field Service Engineer will be going to residential and commercial properties, you will be tasked fixing simple problems to longer complex issues that may need another call out. You will be paid door-door and will based out of your home and go to call outs when required.

Field Service Engineer responsibilities

- Attend daily program of service and repairs
- Excellent communication to both internal team and the customers on repair / service updates.
- Service lift systems.
- Following electrical schematics and Engineering drawings.
- Report and document any issues.

Field Service Engineer qualifications/previous experience

- Electro-mechanical background.
- Field Service background
- Proven experience of delivering great customer service.
- UK Licence.
- Preferably from the lift industry
- Qualifications from recognised body, minimum NVQ2
