Summary of Role:
Support the development and qualification of 200mm SiGe BiCMOS and RF CMOS technologies.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support the development and qualification of 200mm SiGe BiCMOS and RF CMOS technologies. Responsible for designing new device features and the creation of process routes for these features. Devices include both heterojunction bipolar transistor devices and CMOS devices. Define device structures, coordinate process experiments, analyze process experiment data, and coordinate device qualifications in conjunction with the design enablement, semiconductor process engineering, manufacturing engineering, and reliability teams. Define primary cell device layout and design levels. Define and optimize device performance and its relationship to device processes. Plan and manage hardware to meet program schedules. Perform physical and electrical device characterization, and drive analysis and team to meet best in class device performance. Includes analysis of DC and AC device data. Address customer requests or issues which may involve the definition of a custom device. Work with semiconductor process teams on novel integration/processes. Work with Reliability team on any issues or concerns with the quality of the new semiconductor devices. Document and define Design of Experiments and subsequent data analysis. Define device specifications, and document Process of Record in controlled engineering specifications. Document & Create Device and Integration Qualification Module Acceptance packages for internal Reliability, Manufacturing, and Quality Teams.

- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – PhD in electrical and computer engineering, electrical engineering, solid state physics, mathematics, or related field of study and 2 years of experience in engineering or related occupation.
- Requires experience in: Semiconductor device physics; Semiconductor Fabrication Process; Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) device design and fabrication process; GaN High Electron Mobility Transistor (HEMT) device design and fabrication; Designing device layout, mask levels and process flow; Performing physical and electrical device characterization; Measurement and Analysis of DC, s-parameter and AC device data; Load-pull characterization of HEMTs; Design of Process Experiments to optimize device performance, planning and managing hardware to meet program schedules, documenting process flows; Advanced CMOS fabrication and process technology; SRAM and product Yield Analysis; Data Analysis using JMP software tools; JMP scripting. Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, internship, or teaching.
Salary range: $139,466 – $187,900
