Daniel Owen are looking for multiple drainage engineers to cover the Southern area of the GTR (Govia Thameslink Railway) network.

The Company:

The company are based in southern England and began in the early 90's. They have grown significantly and now specialise in Rail, as well as a multiude of other sectors. They provide both planned and reactive maintenance and are proud to offer exceptional levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visiting rail sites to gain an understanding of the project.
• Planning drainage systems using computer modelling software.
• Helping to design flood management or defence systems.
• Drain mapping and locating.
• Operate rotery machines.

Key Skills:

• Develop maintanence plans for existing rail drainage systems.
• Be able to identify areas requiring updates or repairs.
• Assess risks related to drainage and implement mitigation strategies.
• Integrate drainage systems with overall rail design and infrastructure

• Engineer hours 08:00-17:30 although early finishes upon completion of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed drainage plans and designs for rail infrastructure projects.
• Ensure drainage designs comply with relevant environmental and engineering standards.
• Oversee the installation of drainage systems during rail construction projects.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Address and resolve drainage issues that arise during and after construction.

Key Skills:

• Be able to identify areas requiring updates or repairs.
• Design air conditioning (AC) systems for rail vehicles and infrastructure.
• Address and resolve AC-related issues that arise during and after installation.

The Company:

The company are based in southern England and began in the early 90's. They have grown significantly and now specialise in Rail, as well as a multitude of other sectors. They provide both planned and reactive maintenance and are proud to offer exceptional levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM, remedial and reactive works.
• Fault finding and diagnosing issues, reporting and rectifying.
• Working with GTR Assest Pro Live reporting system.
• Participate in callout rota every 4 weeks to cover all reactive faults Mon-Fri.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge/experience of locks, plumbing, carpentry and drainage.
• PTS qualified desirable.
• Full UK drivers license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
