Finance Manager

Ashford, Kent

£50k-£60k DOE

We are looking for a Finance Manager to head up our internal Accounts Team. Working within our Ashford Head Office, the role reports into the Managing Director and includes managing a team of 4 accounts & finance professionals.

The day-to-day duties include:

• Overseeing the team and assisting with any queries or issues they may have
• Preparing clear and concise reports and accounts for the Senior Management Team
• Month End accounts
• Internal Payroll of 25-30 staff
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Budget preparation
• Monthly VAT returns
• Working alongside our external accountants
• Provide consultative advice and discussion to the Senior Management Team
• Produce and manage Profit & Loss reports
• Overseeing the 360 accounts function inclusive of external payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger, expenses and cash-flow
• Build relationships with our clients

Requirements for the role:

• Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified, or working towards or exceptional QBE
• Experience of Management Accounts
• Experience of leading an Accounts team
• Recent and in-depth knowledge of Sage
• Excellent Excel skills

5 person P-Way Gangs - CIS
Kent
Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday days plus Weekends
CIS - rates below

Gang make up & day rates:
TCM / Ganger - £200 midweek, £220 weekends
COSS - £180 midweek, £200 weekends
3 x Trackman/Groundworkers - £160 midweek, £180 weekends

We are looking for FIVE x 5 person P-Way gangs for full time, on-going works across Kent. Each gang will be provided with a van & fuel cards as well as great rates of pay and full time on-going work - we also have Christmas shifts available.

Competencies Required:
All must have:
PTS AC/DCCR
Small Tools
Manual Handling
Emergency First Aid - Electrification
DCCR 1 - already having this is preferred and will enable a quicker start

On top of this, extra competencies required are:
TCM / Ganger - DCCR 2 & SSSTS
COSS - Full COSS
