Technical Engineer (FM) - Weybridge
£60,000 Per Annum (6months FTC, opportunities to extend)

Key responsibilities
- Integrate facilities engineering support within site operations to maximize facility 'up-time' and reliability for the R&D customers served by Workplace Solutions & its service providers at 3 R&D locations in Weybridge, Maidenhead and Brentside.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of UK legislation with respect to Statutory engineering compliance e.g. PSSR, LOLER, Building safety, Legionella, F-gas, electrical safety & Asbestos management.
- Have a strong ability to work in collaboration with cross disciplinary teams such as EHS, quality, Microbiology, Laboratory functions, Pilot Plant Manufacturing operations as well as WPS service providers to problem solve and overcome issues. Must be willing to own &/or support the completion of corrective and preventive actions as appropriate.
- Support completion of site gap analyses versus client combined EHS & Engineering standards. Own activities & projects to support compliance to standards in the event of gaps identified.
- Supporting in the identification of capital projects (>30k) and small minor work activities (<30k) at the 3 sites - Project execution will be by others (WPS service providers).
- Monitor and contribute to infrastructure life cycle asset management.
- Assist in co-authorship and periodic reviews of existing & proposed Work instructions & Standard operating procedures (SOP's) to be executed on behalf of the WPS team & its service providers.
Qualifications and skills
- Qualified to Degree level in an Engineering discipline or time served.
- Experience of the Research & Development process in GXP/regulated facilities.
- Greater than five years professional experience with a proven track record in the management of complex facilities including GxP environments.
- Prior experience within engineering/ facilities project management.
