Currently we are seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our Retail Software Engineering team in one of our East coast or Central time zone locations. As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will work to ensure we deliver a quality solution to our internal customers. You will be responsible for performing the detailed tasks outlined below.

What You’ll Do:
Develop test automation frameworks.
Automating test scenarios using the frameworks.
Knowing and using design patterns where appropriate.
Setting up the infrastructure to run tests:
Running tests in CI/CD.
Running tests in parallel.
Running tests with the appropriate test data.
Setting up dashboards for reporting test results in real time.
Teaching others good quality and testing practices.
Review/Test user stories to ensure they meet the acceptance criteria prior to User Acceptance Testing.
Work with the business to prioritize initiatives.
Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
Review business processes and develop optimization strategies around our testing methodologies.
Developing tools to assist in manual and exploratory testing.
Work on automating manually driven processes with the Retail space
What You’ll Need:
Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
Must be a hardworking individual who is detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
Knowledge of C#, .NET, Java or other programming languages.
Experienced in working within an "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.
Knowledge about various test methods & corresponding tools like MS Test, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, etc.
Exposure to Behavior Driven Development or Test-Driven Development
Able to find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
Be extremely curious and experimental on how to resolve automation issues.
3+ years’ experience in a similar position.
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams.
Excellent people and project management skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
