To assist in the management and education of children and young people with additional support needs (ASN).

A Learning Support Worker may be asked to work with any child or group of children either within a department or within a mainstream class. They may be asked to work alongside and with specific guidance from any teacher within a School. Work around an individual child may be based on an individualised education programme. This programme is followed by all staff working with the child / young person and may involve working with professionals and therapists e.g. Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Child Psychologist, etc.

• Rate of pay shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.4202 per hour
• Permanent Part Time post for 6.25 Hours per Week , 39 weeks per year plus 6.24 weeks (pro rata) paid holiday to be taken during school holidays.

To undertake a supporting role to the Moving and Handling Advisory Service (MHAS) and to assist in the provision of an expert specialised service of training, advice and support regarding moving and handling of people and objects. To assist in the development of moving and handling services and delivering exemplary clinical practice in all areas of the Trust, contributing to the reduction of moving and handling incidents across the Trust and to patient and staff safety. To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. The team at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form are looking to appoint a Teacher of Spanish who will play a pivotal role in providing a high standard of teaching and learning to support students of all backgrounds and abilities.
