The work carried out by this position engages in the collection, evaluation, and analysis of intelligence information used for projecting data and/or estimates of future situations, developing trends and patterns, and producing studies and tactical data. Apply for this position and use your expertise to provide strategic, tactical and operational intelligence to management officials of The Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
This position starts at a salary of $103,409.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $134,435.00 (GS-13, Step 10).

In this position you will serve as an expert in the planning, evaluating, discussing and testing of intelligence information. Your duties will include:
- Contributing to short- and long-term planning through in-depth research and analysis regarding threats to border security.
- Identifying intelligence gaps and assisting with the development of associated essential elements of information required to satisfy and close the intelligence gaps.
- Compiling, collating, extrapolating, and exploiting information from CBP databases, open source reporting, intelligence community, and law enforcement systems and databases in support of CBP border security operations.
- Identifying, reviewing, and evaluating large volumes of sensitive and complex information in support of strategic, operational or tactical operations. Assuming primary responsibility for the completion of long-range and broad-scope analytical products.
- Using established intelligence techniques to analyze data from a variety of sources to develop targets, trends, patterns, profiles, estimates, and studies in support of CBP operational and mission success.
