An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Support Officer to join the dynamic Digital Transformation Team in NHS England South West. The post holder will lead the development and implementation of a consistent approach to project and programme tracking and reporting across the digital transformation portfolio of initiatives. The Project SEARCH trainer provides individualised support for interns during the internship rotation in order for the interns to acquire competitive and marketable skills.

The post holder will be based in the Musgrove Park Hospital. Interns are young adults who have a learning disability and / or autism. Interns are recruited by all three parties over the summer months, in readiness to start the programme in September. This role works to the academic year, so it is mainly term time.

The successful candidates will work term time only, which equates to 41 working weeks. This will offer the successful candidate a good work-life balance.

The working hours are 9am-4pm when working during term time, and the pro-rata salary equates to £21,081.19.

About the role

- To facilitate the training and integration of a student with disabilities in a worksite rotation and/or competitive work environment.

- Perform specific task analysis, especially when students are challenged to learn and perform tasks to a productive and quality level.

- Assist with completing the Vocational Profile to determine the abilities of the intern, the demands of the internship tasks and assist the team to make meaningful matches

The Finance and Planning Directorate in NHS England is looking for talented, diverse, highly motivated people to join the Financial Accounting team as Senior Lead: Sector Accounting - Accounts Production. We:

· work closely with government to agree NHS funding;

· ensure the NHS lives within its annual budget set by Parliament;

· decide how to distribute the funding to the different NHS services and parts of England;

· support innovative programmes that improve the care and experience of NHS patients or people using NHS services;

· set out the financial and performance priorities the NHS should be delivering each year;

· report how much the NHS has spent on providing services each year;

· explore how the NHS can make the best use of its money;

· look at how spend on building or equipment can improve the care and experience of people using NHS services.

· consider how nationally we use these resources to improve healthcare outcomes, reduce inequality, improve health and support the NHS.

As Senior Lead - Accounts Production, you will lead on the production of the Consolidated NHS Provider Accounts. This will include overseeing the design and production of templates to collect and process accounts information from over 200 NHS providers and leading a team supporting finance staff across NHS providers to deliver high quality financial reporting.

The team offershigh profile, fast-paced projects. This requires adaptability, rigor and innovation and provides exciting development opportunities for those developing their careers in the NHS, health or the public sector.

· A qualified accountant to lead on production of the Consolidated NHS Provider Accounts and supporting processes.

· Oversee the design of collection templates to collect accounts data from NHS providers, with a strategic view of risks in processes for collection of accounts data.

· Have an understanding of accounting requirements in the NHS and the ability to write guidance thereon.

· Experienced in producing IFRS accounts which may include consolidations.

· Strong attention to detail in reviewing accounts data and ensuring accuracy in consolidation adjustments.

Your Role as a Chef Trainer:

As a Chef Trainer, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home and get the chance to hit the road and visit different sites within your region to meet your learners face to face. A typical week will involve 2-3 days of travelling to see your chef apprentices in their kitchens, with the remainder working from home meeting apprentices online and completing administration.

What You'll Do:


Work with chef apprentices in their kitchens and online.
Use your industry knowledge to train the next generation of chefs.
Meet new apprentices and discuss their learning needs.
Support your apprentices with their functional skills, explaining how English and maths are important in the kitchen.
Attend our award-winning Chef Academy with your apprentices to support hands-on learning of various techniques.
Visit employers and provide feedback on their apprentices’ skills.
Develop relationships with employers in your area.


About You

We’re looking for passionate chefs, looking to share their knowledge and make a meaningful impact on the culinary industry. To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:


Demonstrable experience at Head Chef, Sous Chef or Chef De Partie level and a passion for teaching.
A good grasp of technology and administrative skills.
Have, or be willing to work towards, a Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths.
A valid Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region.
