The Opportunity

The Lifecycle Communications Manager will lead the way in how we can grow the business through market-leading communications driven by data insights.

This role will be working in collaboration with marketing, student operations and student insight teams to deliver student communications that drive engagement at the key moments that matter in the student journey, by leveraging insights to drive the right student outcomes and desired commercial returns.

Please note that this is a 9 month Parental Leave contract.

About You

• Customer communications experience, with 2+ years team management experience
• Experience in CRM communication campaign management and copywriting
• Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign creation, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Content and communications strategy knowledge and implementation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management experience
• Product or platform ownership experience would be very highly regarded
• Communication agency experience would be highly regarded

Research Physiotherapist Under the direction of the orthopaedic research coordinator, to be responsible for the day-to-day running of specified clinical trials involving orthopaedic patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. This will include the recruitment, assessment and ongoing follow-up of patients for specific trials. Research Nurse To participate in the creation and maintenance of a high-quality clinical research environment. To initiate and manage nursing activities related to academic studies and clinical trials, from initiation to termination, according to ICH good clinical practice guidelines. Clinical Trials Officer (CTO) The post holder will be a member of the research team and will be responsible for implementing and co-ordinating specific research programmes. The post holder will contribute to the implementation and dissemination of research findings into clinical practice and service development. The post holder will work collaboratively with the local clinical lead and across local primary and secondary care services. Supported by the Senior Research Team Lead, the post holder will be responsible for undertaking a broad range of research tasks associated with the programme grant. Liaison with local clinical trials units will be required. The post holder will have to travel between different locations including visiting patients/participants in their own homes. The role will work with project managers and technical leads, to deliver software, analysis and advice.

A PhD would be desirable.
• Experience of working with a broad and comprehensive range of concepts and principles within the areas of ionospheric physics and propagation
• Ability to code in Python/Matlab/C++/IDL
• Has commercial awareness and understanding of the market relevant to their discipline.
• Experience of communicating with an international audience
• Experience working with a range of defence customers and/or industry/academic partners would be advantageous.
