Ideally, they should have relevant experience of building nurturing and supportive relationships with pupils and be skilled in raising attainment through strong practice in planning, learning and teaching and assessment.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a stage partner to deliver high quality learning and teaching experiences for all pupils.

Experience should include:

• Assisting with the preparation of class work and developing the curriculum
• Assessing, recording reporting pupil work and providing guidance to pupils regarding their education
• Planning, implementing and assessing play-based learning experiences for pupils to support literacy/numeracy and health and well-being
• Promoting and safeguarding the health, welfare and safety of pupils
• Working in partnership with support staff, parents and other professionals to support pupils needs
• Undertaking appropriate and agreed Continuous Professional Development
• Participating in issues related to school planning, raising attainment and contributing to the wider life of the school
• Using data to inform learning and teaching

Craigroyston Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our teaching team.
